Note: The hourly rate for this position is $33 - $38 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- Inspect plumbing systems for potential issues including leaks.
- Work with specialized tools and equipment to install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, valves, pipes, and other components used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.
- Cut and thread pipes using a variety of techniques.
- Clean and remove obstructions from drains, water, an sewer systems.
- Install backflow devices, for protection from backflow contamination.
- Assist in performing site surveys and inspections as needed or requested by customer.
- Work to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections.
- Maintain a detailed report of work performed and completed.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years experience of related commercial experience.
- Experience in layout and installation of waste, pvc, and copper pipe.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction documents, and drawings.
- Ability to lift & hold 50lbs, reach, stand or kneel, or climb and carry a ladder throughout the course of the day.
- OSHA 10 strongly preferred.
- Tools of the trade required.
