Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this position is $45,000 per year*

Your duties as Logistics and Distribution Supervisor:

• Supervise and monitor the processes of the Dispatch, Forklift Operators, and Traffic Personnel areas within the organization by designing and following standards and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Ensure that shipments comply with timeliness, product quantity, and quality.
• Comply with the dispatch procedure for customers and/or suppliers.
• Issue and review documents accompanying customer orders.
• Ensure fulfillment of purchase orders.
• Keep departments informed of the status of shipments, as required.
• Ensure that movement complies with timeliness, product quantity, and quality.
• Monitor the condition of products and the arrangement of merchandise in the warehouse.
• Oversee that all forklift operators add the batch to the material correctly.
• Oversee that all forklift operators deliver all materials to the production lines on time.
• Oversee the proper storage of finished product by category and batch.
• Keep the production area organized, tidy, and clean.
• Responsible for the proper functioning of the work area (warehouse) and assigned equipment (forklifts).
• Report any breakdowns or anomalies to the Maintenance Department.
• Oversee the coordination of dock cars.
• Oversee that all orders are correctly shipped to customers and ensure they are double-checked by the traffic and billing staff.
• Oversee that route and delivery schedules are correctly executed for all customers, whether internal or external.
• Ensure that shipments comply with the delivery schedule.
• Any other duties related to the position that may be required.

Available Shifts:

Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift (Evening)

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited university in Puerto Rico or the United States, or previous related experience.
• 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to twelve (12) hours.
• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to frequently lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to frequently use a computer keyboard and type.
• Ability to occasionally expose yourself to significant changes in humidity and temperature.
