Plant Director

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $100,00 to $120,00 yearly, depending on experience
What you'll be doing as a Plant Director:
- Direct and optimize daily plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, among others).
- Oversee manufacturing processes to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead, develop, and evaluate staff across production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local and international food safety and workplace regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments (procurement, logistics, sales) to ensure efficient production flow.
- Manage budgets, operating costs, and plant profitability.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Lead internal and external audits

Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in the food industry, with at least 3–5 years in leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems.
- Experience in operations management and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma is a plus).
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with a results-oriented mindset
- Background check required
