Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $100,00 to $120,00 yearly, depending on experience

What you'll be doing as a Plant Director:

• Direct and optimize daily plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, among others).
• Oversee manufacturing processes to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate staff across production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local and international food safety and workplace regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments (procurement, logistics, sales) to ensure efficient production flow.
• Manage budgets, operating costs, and plant profitability.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Lead internal and external audits

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in the food industry, with at least 3–5 years in leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems.
• Experience in operations management and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma is a plus).
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with a results-oriented mindset
• Background check required
