Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Recycling / Waste Sanitation Worker:

• Riding on the back of garbage or recycling collection truck and collecting solid waste on a designated route
• Directing driver when pulling out in traffic and backing up, and directing incoming vehicles to dumping area at solid waste disposal facilities
• Assisting driver with various tasks during waste runs
• Sorting out plastic, aluminum bottles and cans, cardboard boxes into piles or place them in containers according to material type
• Will need to pull contaminants out of recycling and trash bags brought back to the sorting area
• Keeping the course areas clean as well of debris

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady  
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to carry, reach, bend, push, pull, and climb 
• Flexibility to work in all weather conditions  
• Background check required
