PeopleReady Skilled Trades now has an office in Columbus and is ready to hire! We are looking for Skilled Labor for Asphult for projects in Youngstown Ohio and the surrounding areas. 

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $26 - $28 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

• Skilled labor for asphalt paving includes roles like asphalt rakers, pavers, laborers, and technicians.
• These individuals operate heavy machinery, prepare surfaces, and ensure a smooth, high-quality asphalt finish.
• They also perform tasks like shoveling, smoothing, and controlling material flow during paving operations

 Qualifications:

• Must have RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTS for EMPLOYMENT in the US -Have 6+ months of experience in the commercial/ residential field
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. repetitively . Walk, move, bend, twist, ,stand, and lift for a long periods of time -Own basic hand tools and work boots.
• We provide PPE -Have reliable & consistent transportation to and from work
• Must be able to provide verifiable work references at the time of application
