Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $15.50 - $16.50 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Machine Operator:
- Machine Setup and Calibration
- Prepare machines for operation by setting up tools, loading materials, and configuring control settings
- Calibrate machinery to ensure it runs at peak performance and within production specifications
- Operating Machinery, Run machinery according to company procedures and safety guidelines
- Monitor machine operation and make real-time adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and consistency
- Perform in-process checks using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.)
- Troubleshooting, Identify and resolve basic mechanical or technical issues during machine operation
- Escalate complex issues to maintenance or supervisors
- MaintenancePerform routine cleaning and maintenance of machines
- Report any wear-and-tear or malfunctions to the maintenance team
- Documentation, Record production data, such as output quantity, materials used, and machine performance
- Complete logs or checklists as part of quality or compliance standards
- Safety Compliance, Follow all workplace safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment)
- Participate in safety meetings or training sessions
- Team Collaboration, Work alongside other operators, supervisors, or technicians to meet production goals
- Communicate effectively about machine performance or issues during shift changes
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), 3rd Shift (Night)
Job requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of previous machine operator experience required
- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or mechanical setting preferred
- Background check and drug screening required
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Familiarity with tools such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 9+ hours per day
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs (depending on the role)
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced, and repetitive environment
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime
