PeopleReady of Eau Claire, WI is now hiring Heavy Equipment Operators in Cornell, WI! As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will primarily be driving heavy equipment, LPG or diesel sit-down PIT, for waste disposal at collection sites.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $25 - $40 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Heavy Equipment Operator:

• Operate heavy equipment and perform work per specifications and in compliance with safety policies and standard procedures
• Move/process raw materials/components with use of moving attachment/heavy equipment
• Verify working condition of equipment and inspect for preventive maintenance
• Perform daily maintenance and cleaning activities
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Will be developing 29 properties for new home construction

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Four years of previous experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Driver License
• Motor coordination with finger dexterity for machine operation
• Physical effort in handling objects less than 30 lbs.
• Exposure to occupational risks (cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, etc.), rarely
• Exposure to workplace environment of dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements
• Compliance requirements need to be completed before the associate can be dispatched
• Must be experienced with skid steer, crane lift, and boom lift
• Class B CDL required, but Class A CDL preferred
• Drug test required
