Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $15 - $15 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Construction Clean Up Worker:
- Post-construction cleanup removes debris, dust, and residue after building or remodeling, preparing spaces for occupancy
- Debris Removal: Clearing large debris, trash, and leftover materials from the site
- Dust Control: Removing, not just spreading, fine drywall and concrete dust using HEPA vacuums and microfiber clothes
- Surface Cleaning: Washing all surfaces, including walls, trim, doors, and light fixtures
- Glass and Window Treatment: Removing stickers, protective film, paint, and caulk from windows and doors
- Floor Care: Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping all flooring; potentially scrubbing or polishing floors to remove trapped dirt
Available shifts:
Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, lift, bend, and stand for 8+ hour shifts.
- Reliability: Punctuality and responsibility are essential for maintaining site schedules.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of construction safety procedures and ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) like hard hats.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure a high-quality finish, removing dust, stickers, and debris, according to Momentum Building Services and this job description.
- Certifications: OSHA 10-hour certification is often preferred for safety compliance.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to job sites is typically required.
- Experience: While some positions offer on-the-job training, previous janitorial or construction experience is a plus
- Background check and drug screening required
