Stockroom Coordinator

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Stockroom Coordinator to manage all incoming parts, materials, and inventory for our food processing equipment manufacturing facility. This critical role ensures the accurate receiving, documentation, organization, and timely issuance of materials to support our fabrication and assembly teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and maintains excellent records of what has been received and what is scheduled to arrive.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $18 - $20 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Stockroom Coordinator:
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming parts, materials, and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips
- Accurately check off received items, identify discrepancies or damages, and resolve issues with suppliers or purchasing in a timely manner
- Manage all shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of conformance, and other documentation
- Label and organize parts with correct job numbers, project identifiers, and location codes for efficient warehousing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment using proper inventory storage practices
- Pull and stage materials for fabricators and production teams according to job requirements and schedules
- Track and communicate incoming shipments, backorders, and material availability to production and project teams
- Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records in the company ERP or inventory system
- Prepare outgoing shipments of parts or finished goods as needed
- Assist with inventory audits and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce errors and improve material flow
- Follow all company safety protocols, especially those related to food-grade manufacturing environments

Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or inventory control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, part numbers, and bills of materials (BOMs) is highly desirable
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel) and good written/verbal communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Experience in a food equipment or regulated manufacturing industry is a strong advantage
