Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Host:

• Welcome guests as they arrive
• Give accurate wait times and manage the waitlist
• Handle reservations
• Escort guests to their seats and provide menus
• Introduce the server to the guests
• Thank guests as they leave
• Work with servers to manage seating
• Keep the front area clean and tidy
• Assist guests who need extra help (e.g., children, elderly)
• Answer phone calls and respond to questions
• Help servers when needed

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Experience as a host/hostess or server a plus
• Knowledge of basic restaurant etiquette
• Familiar with health and safety rules
• Able to manage reservations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Well-organized and able to monitor seating areas
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends
• Physically able to stand and walk for long periods
• Background check required
