Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Pasta Processor:
- Inspects, sorts, and packs pasta to the quality standards required by the customer and company specifications
- Pre-stages materials needed for packing the shift in neat and orderly fashion in areas defined
- Removes product from conveyor and places in specified area
- Palletizes finished cases per customer specifications
- Ensures correct product is dispensed into correct container
- Forms containers either manually or using case forming machine
- Keeps work area clean and free of trip hazards throughout the shift
- Performs sanitation duties including process line clean up
Available shifts:
Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), 3rd Shift (Night) & Weekends
Job requirements:
- Ability to communicate, read and write in English in order to understand and follow company policies, GMPs, food safety, OSHA safety regulations and SOPs
- Must have physical ability and strength to perform assigned tasks
- While performing the duties of these jobs, employees are regularly required to stand, talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, push / pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms 2/3's of the time
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line
- Must be able to communicate and work in a team environment
- Must Have Steel or composite toed footwear
- Ability to work in production environment that is high in dust, noise, heat, and humidity
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Background check and drug screening required
