Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $21.50 - $26.00 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Inventory Manager:
- Assist with maintaining, organizing, and further developing a computerized inventory control system
- Assist with shipping of all finished goods
- Complete all shipping documents regarding freight carrier used, date shipped, quantities shipped and backordered
- Unload incoming freight and load outgoing freight and materials, many times using a forklift
- Verify all items on packing slips for quantities received and backordered
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damage and documents as needed
- Responsible for putting inventory in designated areas in an organized and efficient manner
- Assuring all inventory and shipping and receiving information is documented
- Responsible for assisting in year-end inventory procedures, as needed
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory at both warehouse locations
- Responsible for various shop and yard general clean-up maintenance
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in collaborative manner with suppliers, co-workers, and management
- Helps the company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives
- Delivery of parts and materials to jobsites and customer locations
- Other duties as assigned
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Microsoft Excel and word processing software proficiency
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
- The ability to recognize process inefficiencies and to develop new & better processes
- 2+ years of inventory handling experience
- The ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs
- Background check and drug screening required
