Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $19 - $21 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Banquet Captain:
- Training and supervising banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and other event staff
- Event Coordination
- Overseeing the setup and breakdown of the event, ensuring proper placement of tables, decorations, and other event-related items
- Food and Beverage Service
- Coordinating the preparation and delivery of food and beverages, ensuring timely and efficient service
- Customer Service
- Addressing guest concerns, ensuring guest satisfaction, and resolving any issues that may arise
- Problem Solving
- Addressing any issues that may arise during the event, such as unexpected delays or guest complaints
- Inventory Management
- Ensuring proper inventory of supplies and materials needed for the event
- Communication
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen staff, bar staff, and event clients to ensure all aspects of the event are coordinated

- Problem-solving: Addressing unexpected issues and ensuring the event runs smoothly
- Time Management: Managing time effectively to ensure the event runs on schedule
