Note: The hourly rate for this position is $26 - $26 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- Shift: 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am start. Weekend work is as needed
- Review and interpret blueprints and schematics to building specifications
- Install the metal studs to the top and bottom track, using appropriate fasteners and tools to ensure they are securely fastened and aligned
- Ensure proper spacing for the studs and track to the desired wall height
- Measuring and cutting metal runners, studs, and furring channels to required sizes
- Cut openings into boards for electrical outlets, vents, and fixtures
- Install insulation to provide thermal protection and reduce energy consumption
- Attach cladding to the exterior of the wall, such as metal sheets, siding, or other materials for weather protection and aesthetic purposes
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Perform all tasks and follow instructions both oral and written
- Follow all safety protocol per federal and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- 5 years of previous experience in the Carpentry field required
- Must be comfortable working out of scissor lifts
- Must be comfortable working out of scissor lifts.
- Must have good situational awareness as this is an active warehouse
- Must be able to read blueprints and schematics
- OSHA-10 Construction Certification is a HUGE Plus
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Position may require a drug screen.
