Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 - $15 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Rigger:

• Assisting with offloading barges or rail cars, chaining and unchaining coils for offload.
• General warehouse clean-up
• Inspecting and preparing loads that need to be moved
• The setting, aligning and leveling heavy equipment machinery
• Selecting the appropriate rigging gear
• Inspecting rigging before final use
• Monitoring and maintaining rigging equipment
• Ensuring compliance with state and company safety procedure
• Communicating with the rigging and construction team
• Breaking down rigging equipment and conducting post-rigging inspections
• Specialize in the use of manual mechanical devices, and assemble temporary structures like scaffolding on construction sites
• Riggers are responsible for aligning and anchoring the machinery, attaching loads, controlling the movement of heavy equipment, and ensuring the rigging is safe for use

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Must have TWIC card
• Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Able to lift light to heavy objects
• Must be able to lift 50+Lbs for up to 12 hrs
• Background check and drug screening required
