Production Associate

PeopleReady of Hudson, WI is now hiring Production Associates! As a production Associate, you will assemble and inspect products and ensure that manufactured products meet quality standards. We make, package and ship modeling clays & paper maché products at our factory and sell them both retail and wholesale worldwide. Our product solve everyday sculptural & repair needs for artists, handyman repair people, hobbies, taxidermists, educators, manufactures and professionals around the globe. Some of our customers just to name a few are: Disney, Dewalt, Reebok, Adidas, Smithsonian Museum, Minnesota Zoo, Georgia Aquarium, Art Institute of Pittsburg, Atlantis Movie Production Studio, countless professional artists of all sorts. 

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $20 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Production Associate:

• Production line: Lifting chunks of clay into machines, operating pug mills (easy to trin someone), weighting, packaging, boxing, heat tunnel sealing etc. (Various production lines, multiple products)
• Moving and stacking pallets daily. (Average pallet weight is 45 lbs)
• Picking, packing & wrapping orders on pallets (items to be packed weight 5 - 55 lbs)
• Helping keeping track of Inventory
• Stocking Shelves
• Clean-up: sanitize production tables, machines, sweeping, garbage out, etc

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Self -Starter: Willingness and ability to follow directions well, Positive attitude
• Ability to repeatedly lift & pull 55 pounds with ease
• Forklift operation (experience preferred)
• Customer service skills (able to answer the phone and take an order if need be)
• Appearance must be neat and clean daily (T-shirt & Jeans, steel toe/composite shoes), No Animal/Human Hair On Clothing
