Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $44 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Troubleshoot motor and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Review blueprints and building code specifications to determine work details and procedures
- Measure, cut and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Perform semiskilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code as well as all safety codes
Qualifications:
- Must be reliable, possess a solid work history, and be able to pass a drug screening, background check, and have a clean driving record.
- A minimum of six years of experience in electrical or construction-related work is preferred.
- Proficient in performing all duties associated with the electrical trade.
- Capable of reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
- Able to work in environments with consistent or occasional high noise levels.
- Must be comfortable working in a range of indoor and outdoor conditions.
