Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 - $15 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Quality Control Inspector:

• Perform inspections by examining and measuring crosscut sections of various types of welds
• Document any testing results 
• Obtain samples from completed assemblies, cutting out test areas, sectioning the cross section of the weld, grinding and polishing the sample, etching the sample and then measuring the required dimensions using a microscope and computer software
• Perform inspections of spotwelds using ultrasonic non-destructive methods
• Provide feedback on all acceptable finished goods and assist in gathering all problematic finished goods for further QA analysis
• Report problems or concerns to management 
• Provide assistance to quality control teams as requested
• Perform other duties directed by the supervisor

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Background check and drug testing required
• Previous QA/QC experience required
• Able to stand, lift and bend frequently 
• Meticulous attention to detail 
• Basic math skills 
• Must possess strong organization and communication skills 
• Able to use standard measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers and scales
• Able to use computer to record weld measurement results 
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
