Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $22 - $28 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Class A CDL Driver:
- Safely operate and maintain Class A commercial vehicles equipped with refrigerated trailers
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, including verification of refrigeration unit functionality
- Comply with all federal and state regulations, including DOT hours of service and food safety
- guidelines
- Monitor and maintain required temperature settings for cargo
- Unload dairy products efficiently and carefully, protecting product integrity
- Deliver dairy products to designated stores and schools according to delivery schedules
- Obtain necessary signatures and paperwork for each delivery
- Accurately complete and submit required paperwork, including logs, delivery receipts, and temperature
- records
- Adhere to strict safety standards, food safety regulations, and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service
Available shifts:
Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) , 2nd Shift (Evening) , 3rd Shift (Night) & Weekends
Job requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience; refrigerated trailer and food delivery experience a plus
- Valid Federal medical certification
- No driving citations within the last 12 months
- No vehicle accidents within the last three years
- No DUI's or other driving while impaired within the last five years
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength, including lifting and carrying heavy loads
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly, including pallet jacks and hand dollies
- Successful candidates will be required to complete electric pallet jack training
