Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $18 - $22 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Storeroom Attendant:
- Must know and follow all Safety Requirements, Departmental, and Plant Wide
- Must be able to maintain departmental 5-S for assigned areas and equipment
- Must be able to complete required departmental paperwork
- Have general knowledge of computer software and maintenance work order systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel software preferred
- Working knowledge of Industrial Maintenance and Plant Operations
- Identifying, locating, and issuing parts to maintenance technicians from the maintenance storeroom
- Coordinates with vendors and freight carriers in scheduling incoming parts, dies, and equipment and tracks shipments, and keeps the manager informed of status
- Knowledge and Understanding of the work order process or CMMS system, and inputting of parts and work orders into the Fiix database
- Identifies inventory items at the point of issue that may require reordering based on system requirements
- Makes pick-ups of parts or materials when necessary
- Input data and print purchase orders and match documentation, and process to Procurement or Accounting
- Receive and identify incoming parts, place them in the correct locations, and track all documentation
- Inspects deliveries for shortages and damage and reports any problems
- Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures
- Weekly cycle counts
- Monthly inventory
- Security of inventory
- Tracking of inventory
- Work with purchasing to reorder parts based on inventory minimums and quantity to reorder
- Other duties as assigned by management
Available Shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), Weekends (Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekend availability as needed)
Job Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or production plant experience preferred
- Full PPE equipment required for work inside the plant
- High School Education or GED
- Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision
- Ability to operate computers, related software, and office machines
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work any shift when necessary
- Ability to work overtime and weekends with limited notice when necessary
- Knowledge of machinery parts preferred
- Spanish a plus
- Ability to work well with ever-changing priorities and or situations
- Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels, both in and out of the plant
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Background check and drug screening required
