Note: The hourly rate for this position is $22 - $24 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- HOURS: 5 X 8's
- Assist in all phases of construction: site prep, concrete, framing, rough carpentry, punch-out, and cleanup
- Use hand and power tools for basic construction tasks
- Load and unload materials, set up tools/equipment, and prep job sites
- Work alongside carpenters, masons, plumbers, and electricians as needed
- Operate basic equipment or assist heavy equipment operators with spotting and signaling
- Read and follow instructions from foremen, blueprints, or layout plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient worksite at all times
Qualifications:
- Be able to complete / pass pre-employment screenings to work on a
- Federal Installation
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- 4+ years of construction labor experience across multiple trades or job phases
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on your feet, and handle physically demanding work
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, PPE usage, and jobsite protocols
- Comfortable using a variety of construction tools and materials
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Willingness to take direction and contribute as part of a team
- Have full PPE and wear it on-site at all times
