Job Description

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking a commercial and residential Low Voltage Technician in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This position requires the right candidate to have at least 2 years of electrical knowledge in the installation, maintaining, and troubleshoot various low-voltage systems for wi-fi. The individual must know how to pull, terminate, and install CAT5, CAT6, CAT6 wires and data cables. Ariel lift experience is a must. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERNIGHT (10PM-6AM) Apply Today!! Note: The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Run and install new low-voltage cabling for wi-fi and data systems.
• Installation of various types of pathway support; cable tray, and support rings.
• Identify, pull, label, terminate, test cables.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose failed equipment to specifications.

 Qualifications:

• Must have 2 years of commercial low voltage installation experience
• Must have 2 years installation of wi-fi and data cables.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work site.
• Must be able to start immediately.
• Must have professional references.
