Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Truss Assembler:

• Stack trusses so that they are easily handled and ready for loading
• Band trusses together so that stacks are tight and can be safely handled
• Watch for any gaps in joints, missing plates, and trusses that appear to not match the configuration of other trusses
• Notify table leaders of any truss problems
• Attach seat plates to trusses as needed
• Keep the truss staging area clean and free of debris
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
• 100% of the day - Heavy lifting throughout the day - from 20 lbs to 200 lbs + with assistance
• Stack and band trusses so that they are ready for shipping
• Cutting wood to form trusses, stacking trusses, loading delivery truck
• Constant bending while lifting
• Working outside in the elements

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Basic carpenttry skills required
• Will be cross trained at the lumber facility for saw, truss, and delivery truck
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
• Must be able to frequently bend and lift throughout the shift
