Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $19 - $22 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Welder:
- Read and fabricate parts according to the drawing
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Examine work pieces for defects and measures work pieces with straightedges or templates to
- Ensure conformance with specifications
- Capable of working in Team setting as well as independently
- Capable of working in a timely manner, meeting deadlines
- Willingness to complete a variety of tasks as requested
- Maintains accurate time-log of labor hours per work order through the use of Time Matrix
Available shifts:
Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:

Hand weld stainless steel items using both mig and tig welding techniques
-
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and to read and work from simple sketches and diagrams
-
Skill in the use and care of the tools and equipment common to the welding trade
-
1year experience is preferred or
current schooling in a welding trade - Understand and carry out oral instructions
- Read and carry out simple written instructions
- Inspect, examine and observe for obvious product or equipment defects
- Count, make simple arithmetic additions and subtractions
- Use measuring devices such as tapes, gauges, rules, weight scales, where
- Reading is direct and obvious
- Use measuring devices such as micrometers, calibrated steel tapes, calipers, etc.
- Use non-power head tools such as hammers, wrenches etc
- Use power hand tools
- Lift up to 50#
- Stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
- Background check required
