Pay Rate:

What you'll be doing as a Line Cook:

• Responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes
• Follow all recipes and production specifications
• Knowledge and execution of menus
• Assist in all areas of food production as needed
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with state health regulations
• Participate as a team member with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks, FOH and all other pertinent Associates in ensuring an efficiently run operation
• Knows and follows all safety and security regulations in accordance with Grand Casino's policy and procedures
• Must be able to execute and prioritize multiple orders with efficiency, quality and adhere to food safety practices
• Must have knowledge and be able to execute in other outlets of Food and Beverage
• Perform other assigned duties related to this role, contributing to the overall success of the department

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Two (2) years of restaurant kitchen production experience, with a minimum of one (1) year of cooking experience preferred
• Serv-Safe Certification preferred
• Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA)
• Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR's)
• Serves and develops others by building relationships
