Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $19 - $22 / hour*

What you'll be doing as an Assembler:

• This position is responsible for the assembly of power and non-power equipped machines
• Assemble power and nonpower equipped machines as necessary, performing final check out and decal application as required
• Abide by all policies, procedures, and guidelines of the company including good common sense safety practices
• Mount components, such as engines, batteries, wiring harnesses, electronics, wheels, and subassemblies on equipment frames
• Assemble, bleed and test hydraulic fluid systems
• Manage all required paperwork such as Assembly Records, Test Reports, etc
• Perform inspection using measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specification and standards
• Perform testing and pre-delivery inspections 
• Help with developing and implementing appropriate assembly procedures 
• Train other assemblers and oversee assembly process start to finish
• Package and crating of finished products, parts and accessories
• Responsible for good housekeeping
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Adhere to the Company Safety policies

Job requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and training
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to read blueprints and basic assembly instructions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form 
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Microsoft Office Knowledge (Excel, Access, Word, and Visual Basic)
• ERP Software (Syteline, BAAN, LN, SAP, JDE, 4th Shift, or similar)
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, talk, reach, and lift 50lbs
• Able to work near moving mechanical parts
• Ability to work in moderate noise level environment
• One-year certificate from college or technical school preferred 
• Strong mechanical skills required 
• Customer Service Excellence Driven 
• Ability to stand for 10 hours a day and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment 
• Must possess excellent manual dexterity 
• Ability to read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, etc
• Utilize wide variety of hand held tools and cordless power tools
• Must be able to read and understand a tape measure
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Team player, self-motivated
• Drug Test Required
