Note: The hourly rate for this position is $20 - $28 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Smoothing and Leveling:  Using tools like rakes, trowels, floats, and screeds (both hand-held and power-operated) to smooth and level freshly poured concrete. 
• Formwork:  Setting and checking forms to ensure the desired pitch, depth, and shape of the concrete. 
• Finishing:  Using various techniques to create different textures and finishes on concrete surfaces, such as broom finishes, rake finishes, and exposed aggregate finishes. 
• Repairing and Patching:  Filling cracks, patching voids, and repairing damaged concrete surfaces. 
• Curing:  Applying curing compounds to protect and harden the concrete, and monitoring the curing process
• Applying Treatments:  Applying hardening and sealing compounds to the concrete surface. 
• Safety:  Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and repairing concrete finishing tools and equipment
• Following Specifications:  Ensuring that the finished concrete surface meets project specifications and blueprints
• Communication:  Communicating with the concrete team, foreman, and other workers about project progress and needs

 Qualifications:

• Rakes, trowels, floats, and screeds (hand-held and power-operated)
• Power trowels and vibrating screeds. Grinders and chisels for removing rough spots
• Formwork and rebar. Curing compounds
• Sealing and hardening compounds
• Saws for cutting expansion joints
• Hand and power tools for various finishing tasks
