Note: The hourly rate for this position is $22 - $27 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Operating the dump truck: Safely driving the dump truck on uneven terrain, maneuvering through tight spaces, and accurately dumping loads at designated locations
• Loading and unloading materials: Coordinating with loaders or other equipment to load the truck and properly dumping materials at the designated drop-off points
• Pre-shift inspections: Performing thorough checks on the truck's mechanical components, tires, lights, fluids, and safety equipment before each shift to ensure proper functionality
• Basic maintenance: Performing minor repairs or reporting any significant maintenance issues to mechanics
• Site awareness: Understanding the worksite layout, potential hazards, and navigating through challenging terrain
• Communication: Maintaining clear communication with site supervisors, loaders, and other personnel on the worksite
• Safety compliance: Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures for off-road operations, including wearing required personal protective equipment

 Qualifications:

• Experience operating heavy equipment: Prior experience operating Excavator, dump trucks, preferably in off-road settings
• Strong mechanical aptitude: Understanding of basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting abilities
• Physical fitness: Ability to work in demanding outdoor conditions and perform manual tasks as needed
• Good hand-eye coordination: Precise control of the dump truck in challenging terrain
