Auto Body Technician

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with sanding, body filler work, taping, cleaning, and various preparation and finishing tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality bodywork and refinishing on vehicles, including some fiberglass repairs and aluminum polishing.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Auto Body Technician:

• Perform dual action sanding to prepare surfaces for bodywork and paint
• Apply and sand body filler to repair dents, dings, and surface imperfections
• Conduct taping for accurate paint lines and protection of non-painted areas
• Wash and clean vehicles before and after bodywork
• Carry out fiberglass repairs as needed
• Apply filler primer and perform primer blocking for smooth finishes
• Polish aluminum throughout all stages of the repair and finishing process

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Previous auto body repair experience preferred
• Knowledge of sanding, body filler application, and refinishing techniques
• Ability to work with fiberglass and aluminum materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Background check required
