Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Hazardous Waste Worker:

• Clean up of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
• Responsibilities include manual labor tasks such as collecting, handling, packaging, transporting medical waste, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and other materials
• Additional duties involve drum movements, drum bulking, drum crushing, and providing support when extra personnel are needed
• Ensure proper segregation, labeling, marking, and packaging of waste materials in compliance with environmental, safety, and transportation regulations  
• Meet regulatory shipment windows, maintain accurate tracking logs, and adhere to Environmental and Quality Management System, policies, procedures, and operational controls
• Identify and implement best practices to reduce waste volumes, increase operational efficiencies, optimize equipment usage, and generate cost savings for customers
• Perform physically demanding activities, including sorting trash for recyclables, loading trucks, collecting, pouring, transferring, consolidating, repackaging, and packaging waste materials
• Maintain a safe and organized environment.

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Two (2) years of relevant work experience preferred
• Must be a valid driver's license
• Must have or be willing to update all Vaccines
• Must be comfortable walking 10-12 miles daily
• Background check and drug screening required
