In this position, they will be responsible for industrial machinery upkeep, working alone or with a crew. They must be well rounded individuals who can perform efficient work on a variety of equipment, executing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Technician:

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirements
• Equipment and tools include motors, gearboxes,pneumatic systems, coupling and motor alignment, roller chain/sprockets alignment, conveyor
  systems, and production machines
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and complies with machine standards on wiring and installations
• Being able to use a multimeter is highly recommended
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; and using precision measuring tools
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools
• Welding skills are recommended
• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, and alignment equipment
• Optimizes maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Ability to follow and read diagrams, sketches, operations
• manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment (multimeter, etc.)
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and physical structure as needed
• Ability to dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts
• Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment
