Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $38 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure project accuracy and quality
- Will be framing walls, drops, openings, pick up work
- Must be fully tooled
- Perform precision carpentry and finishing work to meet luxury custom home standards, including fine cabinetry, millwork, and trim installation
- Collaborate with site supervisors, designers, and subcontractors to maintain project timelines and design intent
- Select and work with premium materials, ensuring all craftsmanship meets or exceeds client and company expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve construction issues on-site while minimizing delays
- Uphold excellent communication with the project manager and client representatives regarding progress and any potential changes
- Follow local building codes, permit requirements, and best practices for high-end residential construction in Santa Barbara County
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation
- Must have tools of the trade hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
