Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $33 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- Install scenic background, desks, & monitors for television studio
- Using hand or electric tools to fabricate, cut, and install framework
- Reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
- Assemble, place, and reinforce fixtures and racking systems
- Millwright assembly and trim work
Qualifications:
- Five plus years of Finish commercial carpentry experience
- Strong knowledge of reading blueprints, installing fixtures, and mounting media devices such as TV's and cameras
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Basic math skills addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly
- Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds in order to load and unload wood and other materials as well as carry needed tools and materials to and from the jobsite.
